The 1st UK-Validated School of Life and Medical Sciences in Egypt

The University of Hertfordshire in UK and the University of Hertfordshire in Egypt have collaborated to bring the 1st UK-Validated School of Life and Medical Sciences to Egypt. The school aims to build research-informed and socially responsible professionals by offering education that focuses on healthcare development. With its global reputation for outstanding teaching and employment opportunities, the school is committed to maintaining its high standards promising its students a positive learning environment.

The school currently offers two programmes: MPharm and Pharmaceutical Science.The programmes are developed in collaboration with stakeholders of different pharmaceutical sectors to ensure they’re up-to-date and satisfying the market needs. The programmes focus on building a strong foundation of knowledge and equipping the students with the core skills and competencies needed to stand out in today’s pharmaceutical field. Our programmes offer world-class education in which students are adequately supported by a team of dedicated academics to get the best learning experience. The MPharm programme provides multiple job opportunities and opens the door to the world of Clinical Pharmacy.
MPharm graduates find jobs in community pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, cosmetics & cosmeceuticals companies, drug development research, medicinal plants & herbal products companies or national & international drug control and legislations agencies and organizations.

Transferring from Pharmaceutical Science to MPharm Academic Terms and Conditions:

  1. In order to transfer from Pharmaceutical Science to level 5 MPharm, you must complete IFP and then pass all level 4 Pharm Sci modules.
  2. In addition, you must pass an English test prepared by the English Academic Skills Center with a score equivalent to IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.
  3. You are only eligible to sit for the English test after passing all level 4 Pharm Sci modules.
