School of Life and Medical Sciences signs an MOU with Cleopatra Hospitals

The University of Hertfordshire’s School of Life and Medical Sciences has signed another memorandum of understanding with the prestigious hospital chain Cleopatra Hospitals, CHG.

CHG was founded to make healthcare journeys reliable, convenient, and comforting. As the largest private group in Egypt, CHG has greatly influenced the healthcare industry and played an important role in developing the sector.

The Memorandum of Understanding opens the door for collaborative work in several fields, including pharmaceutical information technology, training, education, clinical pharmacy, and scientific research. This partnership solidifies our commitment to the top private medical care provider in the nation and marks an important turning point in our mission to improve the healthcare system in Egypt.

This partnership was signed by Professor Vincent Emery, University of Hertfordshire in Egypt’s President, and Dr. Ahmed Ezz El-Din, CEO and Managing Director of Cleopatra Hospitals Group. The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished professionals, including Professor Aly Ahmed Abdelbary, Dean of Life and Medical Sciences, Dr. Kareem Awad, Director of Group Pharmaceutical Services, Dr. Watheq Al-Setohy, the Group Pharmaceutical Care and Clinical Pharmacy Manager, and Dr. Fathi Shams El-Din, CHG’s Media Consultant.

The visit included a tour around our captivating campus, to explore its latest advancements and the cutting-edge technologies in pharmacy education and pharmaceutical care offered by the University.
