UH-GAF Students Shine at Milan Design Week 2025
At UH-GAF, we believe the best way to teach creativity, innovation, and global perspective is to live it alongside our students. From April 9th to 13th, 2025, a group of our Interior Architecture and Design (IAD) students, accompanied by dedicated academic staff, traveled to Italy to attend Milan Design Week “Salone del Mobile”, the world’s leading event in furniture and interior design.
This trip wasn’t just a visit. It was an immersive learning journey. Students engaged directly with cutting-edge trends, explored the latest in sustainable and digital design, attended hands-on workshops, and networked with international designers, artists, and innovators. They didn’t just observe; they experienced design in motion, surrounded by the energy and excellence of Milan’s creative scene.
In this special video, our Dean, professors, and students share what this opportunity meant to them from academic enrichment to personal transformation. The impact of this journey reflects our commitment to offering real-world, global opportunities that inspire our students to lead, create, and innovate.
