The University of Hertfordshire in Egypt, hosted by Global Academic Foundation, is the first full-fledged branch campus of a UK university in Egypt.
University of Hertfordshire in Egypt is delighted to announce that UH-GAF has been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Arab World 2024 in the Student Recruitment Campaign of the Year category. This recognition underlines our commitment to excellence and innovation in attracting and engaging with prospective students.
THE Awards Arab World 2024 focuses primarily on activities during the 2023 calendar year. Submissions were evaluated based on their impact within this period, although initiatives that began before 2023 were also considered if they demonstrated significant outcomes in 2023.
Our shortlisting is the result of a meticulously planned and executed strategy to connect with potential students through innovative and impactful methods. This achievement serves to show the efforts of UH GAFs collectively recognized for the efforts exerted throughout the 2023 season from marketing, recruitment, admissions and academics.
The recognition from THE Awards is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team, who have consistently strived to enhance our recruitment strategies and engage effectively with future students. As Phil Baty, THE’s Chief of Global Affairs Officer, noted “THE Awards Arab World were launched to identify and promote innovative and inspirational work taking place at higher education institutions .. across the region”. The Times Higher Education Awards are renowned for celebrating the remarkable achievements of institutions across the Arab world, highlighting excellence in various facets of higher education. Professor Vincent Emery, President of UH-GAF, noted “Being shortlisted for the Student Recruitment Campaign of the Year is a great honour and validates our ongoing efforts to excel in student recruitment from a diverse range of academic and social backgrounds".
