The University of Hertfordshire in Egypt, hosted by Global Academic Foundation, is the first full-fledged branch campus of a UK university in Egypt.
The University of Hertfordshire in Egypt has officially welcomed its new students (or as we like to call them, “Freshers”) in an exciting, lively and dynamic two-day Induction. The new students had the opportunity to meet the university’s deans and academic staff, receive useful sessions about the university’s tools and systems, learn about student life and UH’s student organizations, as well as enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities.
From attending welcome speeches by UH’s President, Provost, Dean of Student Life and IFP Director, to immersive workshops and sessions, our freshers surely took their first steps of becoming official university students. They also got a glimpse of student life and activities by enjoying the numerous ice-breaking games, face-painting, temporary-tattoo inking, dancing to live music and meeting their classmates to be.
It was certainly a successful and dynamic Induction, and we look forward to a long semester full of achievements, new friendships and success.
